Default ST170 turbo some help needed

Hi all,
So my focus started of as a 1.6 petrol I decided after some time to put an ST170 engine with turbo into it. Finally after many months of work the car is up and running to some point.
Couple of problems that I bumped into and would be good to get some concrete information if possible:

1) I have the 1.6 ECU still in there suppose to take care of the inside like aircon, speedo etc. The other ecu DTA is taking care of the engine. When revving all is fine but once the car starts moving the RPM's get lost when going over 2000 RPM and the speedometer shows speeds of over 220kmh in second gear closing the scale. Is the ST170 ECU a direct exchange fit compared to the 1.6 maybe the whole speedometer should be exchanged for the ST170 one only??

2) I'm using the stock ST170 radiator but this seems not to cope with the temperatures at all. Taking time and looking into other posts people use this radiator without any issues so I don't understand my situation and the speedo also shows the temperature as normal but the DTA ECU and 1.6 ECU would show on the computer around 101 Celsius. When would the speedo temperature indicator show warning signs? What aftermarket radiator should I be looking for?

3) Turbo timer: when turning the car of the turbo timer kicks in however I cannot lock the car by the remote so when I turn the lock it is closed but once the turbo timer stops and engine shuts down the central lock opens the car again. This makes the turbo timer useless. Any ideas how to get round this?

That would be all for now...any help will be appreciated.
Matt

1) The st170 has its own unique ecu (oak iirc??) which apparently wasn't a ford ecu so I believe is not a direct swap and would require changing the loom

2) Where are you taking the coolant temp reading from?
The focus rs engine will read over 100c (on a scangauge reading from the obd port) I believe this is a head temp and not the actual coolant temp, the fans should kick in around 106c. Otherwise check your plumbing, your rad and your fueling.
I'd go for any aftermarket rad designed to be used on the focus rs

Hope that's been of some use

I would definately say you need the ST170 Engine ECU, engine loom and Car loom, clocks, fuel tank, pump, lines etc. Are you using a 1.6 fuel pump? The ST170 engine regulates the fuel pressure via the pump which is controled by the Blackoak ECU.
Best thing you could have done is buy a written off ST170 and swap the parts over, its cheaper than sourcing all the bits your now missing.

I do have a donor ST170 already just don't want to take the dashboard apart to get to the loom. I would think that if I had some schematics of the ST170 ECU pin layout it would be possible to get the correct information into the ECU like speed and revs for the speedo.
Will the RS and non RS radiator have the same layout for the hoses and fitting are there any differences
