Hi all.

I am currently changing my cambelt and water pump on my car, and need a little advice on how to remove the water pump?
Car is a mk4 1.25 fiesta.

For the water pump undo around 6 10mm headed bolts

It isn't driven by the cam belt, can be squeezed past it to.

When doing the cambelt the crank shaft isn't keyed for the cambelt pulley, you really need the timing tools.

 

I know that about the crank and pulley, I have locking tools already to do the job.

If you don't know how to take the water pump off you shouldn't really be doing the timing belt.

 

Thing was I didn't see the bolts, obviously didn't look close enough, didn't know how many there were and didnt realise i'd need to remove the pulley off the pump to see most of them.
