I've finally managed to get hold of a silvertop 2litre zetec for a turbo build (cars already got 1.8t in it) and once Ive stripped it down next week I might want a rebore and hone, and a port and polish for the head etc

i always use drakes in bradford or there is a small part time engine builder called carcraft(not the car supermarket) on st andrews road in huddersfield who has a very high reputation for ford engines,

Stanwood Engineering at Bawtry are excellent!!

Speak with Jonathan, he runs a zetec in his single seater race car and has won his championship several times

They do allot of race engine machining and their quality and standards are second to none.

They do allot of Zetec's for a number of tuners

 

I'd say stanwood too. They built the engine in my escort
