Nissan GTR... amazing cars, but think I'd be more likely to buy something with a bit more prestige if I was spending that sort of cash on a special sportscar with thumping performance; a 996 Turbo probably.

Always wanted a Sunbeam Talbot Alpine & a Merc 300SL gullwing. One is out of reach the other not really suitable now. Tend to think of cars i can have like a 1950's Riley Pathfinder & late 1940's Jaguar 3.5 or for nostalgic reasons a 1936 Series 1 Morris 8. Looked at one recently but its after the Cossie before i buy something.

 

I think you should go for it with the capri! Half decent projects can be had for approx 1500 quid, you only live once

 

This time next year I should have a decent wedge of cash in my bank and the first thing I'm doing is getting my grubby mitts on a capri, don't you worry about that
