Hi,

does anybody know what the last 4 digits of the injector part no's mean such as 101z or 501z do they mean anything? i ask as i need new ones for my car and want to make sure i get the right ones.

They denote the type of injector, the supplier you get the reconditioned ones from will want to know that number so he gives you the correct ones

 

you get short tips and long tips

501 502 503 is the year some are interchangeable

thing the ones your mentioning are the earlier longer tip tdci mondeo

I have a 2002 52 plate TDCI 130bhp
I sister in law has a 2004 54plate TDCI 130bhp (Auto) her car is going to be sold for spares and repairs needs too much work but her injectors are all good so i was going to swap them over?

Are they compatible?

they do need recodeing to the car you cant just swap them

 

Yes mate i know i will need to code them to the cars i just want to confirm i can swap the physical injectors over. and subject to codeing they will work.
