Default ST170 EML on since air filter change.

Hi all I'm new to ownership of the ST170 when I first got the car it had a 57i fitted which was fine for a few days but then started bringing on the EML light so I decided to refit the standard air box and clear the codes which fixed the EML problem I was having. So I decided to get a K&N panel which I thought would be fine and for the first few days it was (just like the 57i) and yet againg the EML is on with the same code P1132 :'(

Has anyone encountered the same problem if so what is the cure other than putting the standard filter back in.

Thanks for looking guys & girls.

Check the air flow meter wiring is ok and clipped it in properly, also make sure air flow meter is mounted the right way round (have seen it before!!) and all hose clamps are tight with no air leaks.

P1132 Lack Of HO2S11 Switches - Sensor Indicates Rich
For some reason the oxygen sensor says the mixture is to rich.

Can you read live data? What is the value of the Long Term Fuel Trim?

Ive heard the oil applied to a k+n can make its way onto the filament within the air flow sensor, either knackering it completely or causing the inaccurate operation of said sensor.....
