Unhappy mk5 rs2000 rwd -help needed

i have a kit car with a pinto engine in it. so ive decided to replace it with a mk5 rs2000 engine, ive just tryed to put it in and it wont go im using a type 9 gearbox. can anyone tell me what i need. i dont know if im using the right clutch, i bought the engine with a clutch and was told it was the right one. any help would be much appreciated

U need a cvh flywheel and a Rs turbo clutch pal should fit right up then just make sure it's an efi flywheel

Don't foget to fit a spigot bearing if the engine is straight from a RS2000

as mark sayz clutch will fit str8 on a type 9 along wiv a spigot, but you mite also wanna get a capri release bearing

nope, no better then the oem 240mm RS clutch.
MT75 fits perfect, just modify the "fork" as we called the metal piece with a bearing on. cut a fork middle piece and weld on the fork, this put forward the bearing and makes the clutch work.
cheap easy and fast solution.
type9 almost the same, just need some measurements on the distance.
