Default administrative rights on my pc?

trying to run a blaster worm removal tool and i dont have administrative rights ?????

its on win xp

he correct, either add yourself as a local admin.

or right click on the icon for the prog and RUN AS administrator

Log in as the administrator of the machine. Or check the account you are using is administrative.

cant find anything on my accounts, in the control pannel bit i just get an error when click on accounts saying unspecified error, i reinstalled xp couple days ago so i must be the only account

I'd say some thing is infecting your pc already mate. If it is playing up like that.

yup its got blaster worm and god knows what else, most of my updates are not installing properly, i ran adaware and tried panda online virus scan which removed a fair old bit


my last pop up saying updates ready to install it showed a list of stuff that wasnt installed and it was about 20 items lol


the blaster removal tool dont work as im not an administrater, i cant update properly, fookin thing, i already tried reinstalling xp

Can you do a CTRL ALT DEL run task manager and do a screen shot for whats running.
Or copy and paste whats running.

reboot into safe mode and log in as adim and run blaster tool, job done

as above start up in safe mode n log in as admin

the blaster is the one that pops up on screen after connect to internet and counts down from 60 secs then shuts down pc, but i stop it with start / run/ shutdown -a
