Not fair mate, that's why when someone pranged my S1 (stoved in the front end to be precise) I asked for ahem cash ahem. Vastly out of pocket, it's still not back on the road 4 years later. But at least it don't have a marker. They'll all bar stewards an old escort is just an old escort to them, RS, XR, gold plated with hens teeth and rocking horse poo trim option, they'll never pay out.

Gutted for your business partner. Know of a good place in Chatham, just over the water from you, Medway RS Centre. Might be able to do you a better quote and get it repaired?

when you are invovled in an accident, NEVER let someone "take the car to a bodyshop" because once they have the car you have virtually fuck all to bargain with as they will simply start ramping up the "storage fees"

get it back to you house, get the assesor to come and look at it, wait for the paperwork

this is even more so if you have some sort of fancy motor because the garages will know you'll want to get it back so they will take the piss even more
