I'm looking into chopping my 3 Sierras in for a Mk4 Mondeo 2.5 petrol turbo. We had a 2.0 diesel before so I know the car drives real nice. Anyone had a 2.5T before? What they like? Pros and cons? Can they tuned up like the Focus ST engine? Cheers

Fuel don't really bother me. If we go anywhere long distance, we take my missus company car-free fuel It's just with the sports body kit they look shit hot. Does anyone do sports exhausts for them?

 

there not that bad on fuel although tony at turbo systems recons theres one pist doing nothing but wasting fuel most of the time great torquey engine and very punchy

 

I've driven one, they are smoother and quieter than a Focus ST, supposed to be better on fuel as well, probably mapped differently with more of a sway towards refinement and economy.

 

Very nice car and the mpg puts most people off, so they're cheaper than the diesels! If I could justify the fuel bills I'd have one now!
