why are they worth so much money now and people are buying them.
only a few months ago i advertised mine and only wanted 1500 for it.
nobody wanted to pay that.
but now they are paying 5k plus

Mine came on the car "C8 OSY" paid 2K for the car, just to get the number really

 

i paid 5500 for the car and 500 for the plate 2 and a half years a go.i was only going to sell it to finance an escort cos but know spending on the 3 door and keeping that.

 

the 5k+ plate was C05 SY, very little mods make it COSSY.

Back to the subject of private plates, I have BAZ 2642 and I`ve seen similar plates are being sold online for up to approx Ł3500!!!! I don`t even think it`s worth that!! But i ain`t complaining!!!

 

Anyone got any ideas of how much the ** COS plates go for?

I've seen C2 COS go for 3.5k and C4 COS go for 1.5k....whats the difference?

 

i have seen ***cdz plates go for 700+

My licence plate is YBB, but never made it as far as the cossie. Girlfriends is SKOOB as she has a Subaru. All other variations had gone! I also have the plate on my current car starting SXY which people seem to think is an abbreviation of sexy! Time to change plates if that is the case

only the c05sy one was for 5k right?? knew some1 who sold their CDZ22I few years back for 2k...

these plates will not go too expensive in the future tho imo as ford no longer own cosworth and the chances of them being on another road car are quite bleak!! so the prices will steady off....the rs reg plates mite be a hit depending on the new focus rs...if they produce it like some are expecting it to be...like the evos and scoobies (quite a large production number in quite a variety of specs) then the plates may become desirable again....

if I ever get it sent to me I have bought K444 BHP for my car as I wanted to put the car back on a k plate anyway (its on H at the mo) and thats about my power figure too
