Default My New Audi RS6

2003 saloon, 70k miles, a very nice car with the 19 inch wheel option, sun package? Solar roof???Pro sat nav/tv infact i think it has everything! Sounds very nice and fook off fast No lag just grip, the thing will NOT wheelspin! I was also please to see in my invoices that the suspension has been changed to KW Racing coilovers Sound system fantastic, the recaro seats are lush...quite impressed so far. I was however concerned over the fact the garage i bought it off (audi specialist) said the cambelt was not due but looking at the history it is infact due also i was dissapointed at the fact the front brakes (discs/pads) were new but the rears wernt and NEED replacing....but i didnt need to worry as he is paying for cambelt and new rear brakes no quibble.
Check out the carbon fibre engine cover

Carlo yes the M5 is crap compared to this drivability wise, i never said otherwise the the M5 V10 was crap driving around town!!! Two totally different cars, this thing just GOES and the M5 you had to really stoke up....BUT you cannot deny the BMW V10 engine is the best in the world but no good in a 4 door saloon

Cant say about fuel consumption yet, but i am hoping for more than a 12mpg average!

Also Carlo the estates are rank! Any estate is IMHO, the only time i will be getting in one is when the hearse picks me up!

No i sold the Clio, got Ł5500 for it and is going to France, only owed me 4k so i felt i had too as i just didnt drive it as i felt like a boy racer in a chavved up car :0 Stunning car though....

The thing about this RS6 is i dont know if its been remapped? Its had the coilovers put on which makes me wonder?

Could be but more likely the coil-overs are to replace troublesome standard suspension which is a common fault on these.

well, the saloon doesnt look that special imo from the outside, just looks like an A6... the avant tho looks very hard!

but well, as you know you gotta live with it, so if you want the saloon then fuck it, its only that it matters to. its not going to do much for your gansta rep tho

As i said above when phil gets a cr its amazing when he sells it and buys another car its crap & the new car is the best thing on the planet !

We had a RS6 avant in the work it was stunning , i just dont like the saloons it looks like a old mans car or rep mobile ! i know its far from it but just my opinion ! as long as your happy with it thats what counts its a blender and a half you will need to get spinners or something so you will be noticed in it

I was referring to the tickover sound. Where did i say a 500bhp V10 BMW was slow?????? Yes you have to rev it to get it going, the Audi produces all its torque from 1950rpm - 5600rpm The 0-60 times are the same despite 57 less bhp, i would guess the M5 would be quicker top end due to the 4x4 tranny....but when i chip mine i would assume it would be quicker overall bar top speed.

Carlo, the M5 is a staggering car but if i dont keep it, there is a reason. The reasons were:
Dreadful fuel consumption, even pottering about
Dreadful gearbox when driving slow

Other than that lovely piece of enginneering.

The M5 does sound awful at low revs and tick over, same noise as the 3 liter diesel.
