does anyone know which gearbox replaces mt75 4x4 as direct replacement to change to rear wheel drive only. it is being fitted in 3 door sierra base model and i do not want to cut gearbox tunnel. the 2.9i will still be used. will i need new gearbox mount aswell as been told mt75 will not fit due to narrow tunnel.
this may be a much easier option.

 

I would think a gearbox from an XR4i 2.8 v6 is in order.

Just be sure it is a type 9 box from a v6.

But then again, what do I know...?
