its 1243 on early ka's this is also why you cannot use the rule of 9 to set the tappets on them

Might need to adjust tappets on gf's fiesta it's got 1.3 pushrod engine in.

mines 1243 on my rs1600i turbo

When you look at the 8 rockers with the rocker cover off
Turn the engine over till no 1 rocker is fully compressed then check no 8 tappet clearance 1+8=9 hence rule of 9
Now turn engine over till no 2 fully compressed then check no 7 ok 2+7=9 and so on till you have done all 8 simples
Personally I would use the old rocking method and it's quicker

Correct, the same applies to the Kent/HCS etc (Which, of course, is all the KA/Endura engine essentially)
