As title guys, why is this. I have one on the roof of mine but would like to remove it for a cleaner look, so where do the ones that don't have it on the roof have it

 

the aerial its selfs sits in the bootlid via an amplifier - it powers itselfs off the rear screen demister.

the aerials are pretty hard to come by now as well.

 

Cheers, so i don't need what's on the roof if the actual receiver is on the tailgate

 

i would imagine that if you had a roof mounted aerial then you wont have the reciever in the boot lid - if you remove the panels on the bootlid you should see it if its there. (its blue and a rectangle shape)

if you are after an aerial to run there i have one spare if you are wanting to buy one, i just dont have the reciever

 

I have a blue rectangle box in the tailgate, what would i need all together for this

 

You would need just the aerial now that's it
