Question and reply made me laugh! Counting out aloud as it times roughly 0-60 on the speedo!
Hi mate was just curious about the 0 to 60 times.... Have you fitted a Saturn 5 rocket engine in the boot or is that with a nudge of the great white cliffs of Dover?? Many thanks, I look forward to your reply Regards, sam 01-Jun-12
A: Lol u got a seance of humour. Nah mate, this is the score. I looked at the spec on one website and it said that it does it in 9.8Sec. I thought that can't be right. My diesel fiesta can do better than that. So I tested it on the heads of the valleys road. Nice and flat. I don't like ragging cars and didn't want to blow it up after all my hard work. But I gave it a go. My first attempt was 7.5. And it didn't get a very good start. I did to others. My best was like 5.5. It was hard to do with my manual counting but I am pretty good and didn't get over excited. It has good traction. Only a little wheel spin. Got good tyres on it. It only weighs 980kg that website said. I've not weighed it myself. And I weigh 15St. All things considered with a standard 110bhp oldschool it did pretty f*cking well. I'm trying to find an excuse not to sell her cos I feel like I'm selling my soul. I'm your local and interested. Come and have a look mate. Two of us in the car will effect the time cos of extra weight but it will be semi close like. Piece!

Drove my mates wifes old Clio RSi and it wasn't nearly as quick as my old tweeked 8v XR2i. 5 seconds is dreaming, I would be surprised if it could muster the 60 dash in 8.
A nice original Clio 16v would be cool

Unless you have drove this exact car.....id keep your pointless comments to yourself
