What with the cossie S2 ERST project coming along nicely, i've started buying loads of parts that i want to renew when the build up starts.
Looking at replacing the engine and gear box mounts (2wd), it's a toss up between
Vibra-Technics and Collins for the engine but was wondering if theres really any difference.
Also, is it worth the money to replace the gearbox mount.

I think (me included) most go for Collins engine mounts.

 

Got Collins' in mine. Gearbox mount still to change.

 

Am I right in thinking the Collins ones aren't as stiff, so a bit more 'road friendly'?

Think they do. They have adverts in the mags.

 

I got vibra technics gearbox mount and you do get vibrations through the car, however changing gear is now very precise and the rides not too bad. It was good enough to do a 600 mile trip with my 7 month old daughter.
