Default Welding gone wrong

Hi, don't know if this is right place to post but we had a transit van come in today for work on the rear shutter. One of the lads disconnected the battery and did the welding. When re connected the battery and tried the key it won't start at all. Anyone got any ideas? We tried a spare key incase it's coding lost but still nothing. Thanks

No it's just clicking. Dash lights up as normal but then just clicks. It's only done 500 miles. 12 Reg

Slightly lazy battery? Try jumping it and see what happens...

check to see if theres a big fuse next to the battery, prone to blowing.

It sounds more an electrical problem, have you reconnect all battery leads properly and also check the earth etc has not melted!

The "clicking" you are hearing is most likely the starter relay etc.

I'm not sure mate, I didn't do it, the lad who did it said he did what he does on everyone that comes in and it's never happened before. Apparently the AA guy was pretty certain it was the immobiliser, should find out today.

Id say flat battery too.
Is the imobilizer light flashing or solid state?

Alright guys, turned out it was a loose wire under the battery, you'd of thought the auto electrician or AA guy would of spotted that. Even our lads! Anyway ford found it and sorted it and didn't charge!!!
