Hi,I have owned my ST170 for the last year and it has just had 12mths mot put on.Im the 3rd owner and the 2nd owner was also female.It has high mileage from previous owner (motorway miles) but I have only done 6000 in a year,mileage is 140000 on a 03 plate.We have a family and need a bigger car so upgrading to a 7 seater.It is in good condition with minor scratches (I have pics available of the car).
The engine management light has been in for the whole time I have had it and just had diagnostics confirm error code P1518.Would fixing this be worthwhile doing to increase value or not or accept lower offer and not fix it,advice please?Liz

The choice would you sell it now lower or do the work and wait for a while and still not get back the cost!

 

disconnect the power from the battery leave it for 15/20 then reconnect the power back on this will reset the ecu and will turn off the E M L why did you do 6000 miles with out having the car checked with such high mileage
