Default Caprisport brembo brackets

Did anyone buy brackets from these guys, have brembo e38 calipers and focus 324 discs but the bracket is pushing caliper against disc on one side, fitted 3mm washers to see if that would sort it and disc is spinning at least, may be omething I'm doing but bracket appears to be to thin (10mm)

2wd hubs

How thick washers/spacers did you get with the kit?

Their kits always need messing to fit. I fitted their cosworth brake conversion to my capri years ago was a load of aggro!

When correctly spaced I recon I'll have about 1.5 mm between disc and locating lugs/ears

Doesn't sound much, what about everyone else....

The guys a fool. I spent £500 with him 10 years ago for apparently the best brake kit u could buy for a capri and I had to pay £15 membership to caprisport club on top! Or he wouldn't let me have the kit! For the £20 I had 1 news letter! The kit was crap too and took loads of messing about to fit it. It couldn't stop my car with a 2.0 pinto never mind the 400hp it has now.

Let me guess Lee 283mm cossie discs with mondeo calipers? Mine fitted sooo bad i had the mounting brackets remade and the caliper carriers machined to suit.

I now design my own brackets and have someone make them

Costina, spot on mate! Load of rubbish read all the mag features etc so bought the kit and was very poor quality and didn't find them any better than princess 4 pot I had! Plus the discs moved the wheel out the disc thickness towards the arch so my wheels were rubbing! I'm thinking of getting brembos for it now. Do u make brackets for brembos to fit on a capri? I have a set of ap 4 pots here off my Sierra but I want to keep 15" wheels on my capri.

Yeah but I wanted the brembos as they're better brakes and wider pad area for greater stopping bud, cheers anyhow plus they look better than the cossie ones
