Default any zetec experts on that could solve this

right the wifes escort gti has developed a very bad running fault over night

basically it goes like this

car will start fine but soon as i pull away it cuts in and out very violently
no matter how much i rev it it will through me back and forward in the seat
and when i get it moving it still persists and the rev counter is jumping up and down like mad at any rev or speed
and it will then do it on idle and cut out

some times it is very hard to restart and so on and so on it repeats

ive changed,,
plugs
leads
airflow metre
water sensor

had it on the diagnostic to day witch came back all clear even with the lambda unplugged

whats your thoughts

That or coil pack.

Gear box sensor can do the same but less violent.
