can anyone help my 4x4 saphire rev counter is jumping all over the place and is missing under boost any ideas

Check your plugs first as it sounds like the boost is blowing out the spark. IMO me and most people use standard 071 sparkplugs as they are good enough. Not sure what to do about the rev counter. If that fails check all the sensors and whilst your at it give them a good wipe/clean up including your temp sensors at the back left handside of the head behind the dipstick.

mine used to do this and i cleaned the connections on the 3 multi plugs on the bulkhead and have had no problems since
