Hey fealls just wondering if anyone can help , im thinking of putting some mondeo 15 inch steels on the mk1 and not really sure if they'll fit . I know that a 15 inch rim will fit under the arches just not sure if the mondeo ones will fit ie offset etc .

Anyone done this ?

 

Wrong offset the fronts will hit the springs rears will fit on.You need to have the centres removed and turned around and rewelded to get the offset [or near as it can be]

 

SAAB 9000 series steel wheels offset ET33 will fit fine no wories.

Many of the boys in oz run them as we have limitied 108pcd cars here.

look at peugeot eg. 106, 205, 306 and 405. they are et 13-18
the escorts run et 0 so the closer the better
