Default Sports Estates/Tourers upto 8k ish - Talk to me

As title..........

Or less....

I've recently got rid of the Vectra Bus and now using the Focus everyday but I'm already finding it less practical for doing ' stuff '.

Loved the Vectra it was just getting old............

So

Personal Fav is the Legacy 3.0 R Spec B Touring or the S4 Avant but the big engine and Audi tax scares me a little.

Anyone else got any food for thought.....?

(PS - Gotta be sports type - big engine or quick ish and PETROL - diesel is the fuel of satin)

There is a c36 amg estate on eBay for 8k that looks like it could be fun.

No idea what they are like as cars though!

A volvo t5/r?

Gavin.

Mine is a 2000, the phase 2 one.

Ł1100. But I'm sure you can get a 55 reg onwards for a lot less than 8k.

If the idea of a regular T5 gets you wet... how about a V70 R, guess you'd get one for under 8k now?? c300bhp from memory and AWD too.

Cheers,
Grant

Yeah, I used to sell Subaru when I was in the motor trade and that generation of Legacy is fantastic... however, regardless of tests (that's a V50 rather than V70 in your link...), I'd also consider a V70R if I was thinking about a SpecB.

Cheers,
Grant

The one I'm talking about has essentially the same mechanicals as the S60R as far as I remember... so the reviews should be semi-helpful.

Grant

B5 S4 avant, no question.

late 1999-2001 facelift

PROPPER build quality, genuine sleeper that goes like a stage 3 cossie but goes round corners better, and you know you can get in, turn the key and do a track day then work the next day, everything is over engineered

BMW good in theory, i agree, but....... well fuck me, drive an S4, please!

Mondeo 2.5 TitX. Huge boot, great car, and all the same tuning options at the Focus ST.
