Default Returning 1993 4x4 sapphire cosworth to original

I know a person and he requires to return a 1993 4x4 sapphire cosworth to original spec.

1 - Is the rear lights smoked type?
2 - Is the front indicators clear type with orange bulbs?
3 - What type of headlights are on this model? Is standard sapphire headlights same as sapphire cosworth type?
4 - Is the fog lights in the bumper same as on all earlier sapphire cosworth 2wd & 4x4 models?
5 - What type/colour leather door cards are on this model?
6 - Is the fuel tank the same on all 4x4 sapphire cosworth models?

Any info would be appreciated.

No there not, the Cosworths are unique due to the unique grill it has.

Not true, leather was an option on 2WD as from 89 onwards, all 4x4's had leather.
Not a dig, just correcting a couple of points.

I'm not certain, but thought leather was still an option? Mine has Rainbow (?) cloth. Are the Headlight lenses the same on all models?

If so, it's very rare as I have never seen a 4x4 without leather? No the headlights are unique on the Cosworth, as I say the grill is unique, so the mounting flange is different on the actual headlight, lenses are the same.

Leather was an option on 4x4 even on the face lift. The facelift had rainbow cloth if it didn't have leather facelift also had diffrent dash n door cards steering wheel etc etc. Head light lenses changed on 90 onwards as the full beam part near the grill was clearer to look through on 90 onwards or 4x4.

Did the late-spec 4x4's have sharktooth alloys or lattices?

I think there are two non leather options for the 4x4, there is the rainbow cloth in the facelifts, then a dark grey in pre faclift cars?

Correct if you choose cloth you got dark grey almost black on pre facelift cars and rainbow cloth on facelift cars.

Rainbow trim was standard on facelifts with leather the option, the colour tipped spoiler was the last 200 made, not necessarily registered tho. So you can see some late 1992 J plates with the tipped spoiler, its all about production line not registered date.....

Yep. Speak to/pm carl/saph (4x4 registrar) on RSOC forum and pass over your reg and vin number and he'll come back to you with a build date etc etc for you.

Does anybody have any photos of the 2 different headlights for the sapphire cosworths? Am I correct in stating that one set of headlights was to suit a 2wd cosworth from 1988 to 1990 and the other set to suit a 4wd cosworth from 1990 to 1993?
What are the finis codes for the 2 types of headlights?

More info located on another site.

"large carello writing on 2wd, small carello and H4 on 4x4.

early casings made in italy, later casings from uk."
