Anyone found/tested/adapted the newer style mist washer jets to their RST? If so, what did you use?

 

Wondered this myself. The ones jags use which clip to the wiper arm are really neat but routing the pipes isn't a quick swap for the sprays stuck in the bonnet.

 

Its only that i dont want to keep forking out for different variations to find ones that 'nearly' fit
Sods law ill buy ones that are massively too big, or way too small.
Might see if my ford parts guy has any focus ones lying about for me to look at

 

Im thinking about using insignia or new astra ones,as mine arnt in my bonnet any more anyway so was going to put them in the scuttle tray

 

Honda jazz ones work well... Seem to fit in with minimal mods!

the mk3 focus ones fit all focus's / later fiestas / mondeos etc. Only problem is they spray quite low and they aren't adjustable so you need to get them angled right too. I bought some to put on mine, they just spray all over the bonnet!

 

I have them on the GSi, they'd need a lot of modding to fit an Escort. They're quite tall and they're about 18mm in diameter.

They will be going on a mk3 fiesta mate,and like i said they will be going in the scuttle tray some how lol.i work for Vauxhall so have got a few sets to try

 

I wonder if these jets need a higher pressure washer pump to work properly? The mk4 escort one is pretty shite....

I have a m8 whos using the jazz ones... Hes abit of a bufty and got fed-up with the screenwash misting all over the roof and door windows lol!
But they worked well!
