Just finished my s1, but taken on a couple of other projects.

Mainly a graphite rs1600 I've wanted for years and an xr2 project, these will be very time consuming which wont give me any real time to enjoy it in the way I should, and once my rs16i is done I'll want to drive that over the s1.

Just wondering what roughtly id get if I broke it??

its never going to be a concours car so I doubt I'd recouperate anywhere near the money I've spent should I sell it complete.

Car is standard, apart from avo coilovers up front and avo dampers on the rear
fully rebuilt engine.
Shell is clean, could do with some paint I'll probably have done anyway.

 

Try to sell it complete at a price you would be happy with first,you may be surprised at what someone will pay.

Far less hassle than pulling it apart and being left for months with bits and pieces laying around everywhere.

 

What are they worth in a tidy condition?

 

Prices vary a fair bit in the S1 world but you're looking at 3.5 to 4kish for a half decent one maybe needing a bit of work.Anything much less than that is project territory IMO.

There's a very very nice example on the series one site just now for 12k and another supposed original car on ebay starting at 18k

 

Ty sell as a whole, shame seeing them being broken for spares.

But if you do decide to break i would be interested in a few parts

unsure as of yet.

totally lost all love for cars, literally overnight, dont really want it to sit around till I get interest.

I will complete the graphite rs16i, as its something ive wanted for years and will always love.

but the s1, needs probably a days work to get it finished, just little jobs like fitting rear seats, putting radiator/cooler and lights back in, but have no motivation to do so.

 

Just put it back together and sell whole.

No motivation, just think of 4k in your hand once its ready to sell
