Default Cosworth engine bay cleaning tips please.

Any advice on cleaning a cossie engine bay. I have read that steam cleaners / pressure washers should not be used and the best thing is to use paraffin and a brush as no water is required. I was planning on using gunk and a hose but guess this is not advisable, any advice please.

gunk is sound for the head and below for the rocker you can go into halfords and get a kit called an engine detailer kit, that works wonders.

when you put the gunk on leave it for as long as you can . then scrub it in with a nice hard brush .
then wash it all away with nice hot soapy water.

bobs your unkle.

do not use a pressure washer please !!!!!!
more harm than good. ford have shite electrics any way let alone if you hammer water into them.
