Hi decided to sell this. I bought it last year after looking high and low for a white 1 after being messed about for 3 months by someone on here i came across this near home and bought it because it was so clean. Drove it home sorned it and its been sat there ever since. Its a really nice escort but its just not white i looked into having it painted but its far to big a job for me so i'm gunna sell it and continue my search for a white H reg s2.

Engine was rebuilt with the nut and bolt rebuild 3000 miles ago. Also as rear disk conversion with bias valve under the bonnet, front mounted intercooler with twin fans, turbo cooler, alpine system, clifford alarm, loads of over stuff i'm not that clued i just wanted to relive my youth

When you consider the condition of the car, then the price isn't high at all! These are becoming harder to find in good condition

From the pictures, and from what you posted when looking for an S2... I'm fairly sure this will be a cracking RS Turbo. Shame you're dead set on a White one because this looks like one of the few good S2's remaining, for reasonable money too IMO.

You won't need luck selling this, I expect it will be gone pretty quickly.

Bugger. I was reading every post hoping it hadn't sold cause that was perfect for me.

 

Perfect price for a good example. People moaning about prices were just taking the piss a bit imo. If you spend £2000 on an RST today I guarantee you will 9/10 get a car with LOTS of hidden rust.

Look after, sure am, ive been working on the car daily since ive had it... done so much, new master cylinder, brake pipes, sump pan, reverse light switch, horn, removed dvd player etc, poly mounted exhaust, underside fully cleaned, touch up and detailed, engine bay, touched up and detailed, car fully cut back, polished and finshed with colinite, 5 rs turbo alloys bought powder coated and waiting for new tyres, amber inicators re fitted, genuine ford mudflaps bought and fitted, new tailored car mats installed, interior valeted, new dash fitted as old one had mark on passenger side above glove box also glove box been cut to install dvd player etc.... and its passed its mot with no advises....

 

I'll post it here too, if you do re consider selling and go for a mercury one let me know.

I wanted mercury or radiant, and i've decided i'd prefer a red one.
