Hi

House was broken into and my car keys were stolen, car is fine but never managed to get the keys back and no spare.

I have managed to get a new boot lock and fuel cap and as front doors delocked no worries there.

My problem lies with the iginition barrell - i know you turn to position one and push down on the locking pin and then just slide the barrell out - my problem is that i dont have the key and hence cant turn to position 1 - any tips or idea what i can do to fix this ?????

change the housing aswell ,i have one for sale with the barrell removed

 

How about using a screw driver its no good anyway just an idea

 

loads of faffing if you try to remove it with no key and quite hard to do so without removing the barrel so id change the housing
but .... if you have your old boot lock and it was the same key get the code from it and get a key cut.

 

I do have the old boot lock so could be the way forward - if i take it to ford will they be able to tell from the boot lock then ?
