Diesel Leak Off Kit
Hi Brian, i would have responded to your private message but i rather everyone can see how i did the leak off test so as to help as many people as possible
.
First off i had to cut off the outer rubber pipe, this wraps around a much thinner hard plastic pipe which is the true injector leak off pipe. It is heat wrapped at each end and is virtually impossible to remove by hand so i had to cut it off aswell. The method i employed was to cut length ways while avoiding damage to the clips as much as possible, if you get almost all the way through you can use a thin screw driver to separate the pipe so that it comes of the clips and cross block.
Once these were off i bought some off this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silicone-F...#ht_646wt_1110 and then when i was finished installed new rubber braided leak off pipe which you can get from most car shops.
It looks like this but make sure you get the one for diesel http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8mm-5-16-1...ht_4813wt_1110
