mot question
No reason why you can't it's just you're wasting money not getting the full 12 months out of the last one. But hey, good on you for being paranoid and wanting to ensure it's in one piece still
Hi, im an MOT tester, you can take your car for a mot at any time however unless its within the last month it wont carry on from the current mot. as above it is better to make sure you know if there is something wrong with the car,
i would also suggest that if you know a mechanic/tester that you can trust ask them to check over all the bits that a mot would cover basically like a "pre-mot check" (a garage may charge for this)if you just want to know if there is something wrong/dangerous with the car or if you want to show or prove to the customer(buyer of car) then an mot would show that.
