looking for either 17mm or 18mm ID hose for my Bailey breather, i have 16mm but its way too tight down by the inlet to get it on, tried bioling the end and stretching but it aint going on, several skinned knuckles and alot of shouting have got me to here!

 

How long a piece you need mate...?

For futre reference this might help.
If i have a hose thats a bit tight i normally put some boiling water in a pot and let the hose sit in it for abit. 9 times out of 10 it will then stretch over.
Too late now i know, and if you tried that then ignore me lol.

Cutch is one of the soundest people on here,saved me from a lot of crap with my transit van last winter and again wouldn't take anything for helping,but the lure of irn bru was too much for him!!!
Eventually managed to convince his mrs to take half the scrap money I got for the van so she's sound as a pound as well.
Great to see all the help people give on here.
Btw cutch I STILL have your boys goalposts in my house,I'll drop them off next time I'm driving up,had to fly this time.

Matt, cant thank you enough mate, it arrived today 1st class! you didnt need to do that. Well you were right the 16mm slipped on straight away no problems, now making the bracket for the breather and should be finished tonight. Cheers bud, i owe you a pint!
