Tell me about it, all you can do is watch the car go through different stages of death. Heartbreaking, never want anyone to go through that!

they think a fuel leak.
Should be a warning to all with older cars to check their fuel hoses regularly and replace the rubber if it shows any sign of deteriation.
Seems to happen too often.

I was suffering a fuel leak and had already decided to solder AN fittings on my fuel lines and i have opted for Goodridge fittings as i think they have a more secure fitting over Torques which my oil lines are.
Not a nice sight but i'm sure the insurance premium was agreed so the owner should get something back at least

Fire Brigade had to prise the bonnet to get the hose in
Car was a Gold Cup Concours Winner.
Always sad when this happens to anyone, but even more so as Kev had put so much time and effort into the car and he is a genuinely decent bloke.

Everything was brand new Warren as it had just been rebuilt and a general paint tidy up in the bay. Might be a case of something not being tightened enough and working loose
