Good evening one and all.
Gonna make this short and sweet. Have sent my head off too be ali welded too accept a zetec head gasket. Having done my homework or so I thought shouldnt be too much of a drama.
However just a call from the engine guys saying that there looks too be other parts of the head that needs welding. The make reference too galaries on the exhaust side of the head.
Basically are these inline with the brass bungs that you have to use to create a zvh or do I need them welding up too?

I wouldn't of bothers having it welded up to accept a zetec gasket for the time and money you could of saved I would of phoned site h racing the have a specially designed head gasket that is a multilayer gasket specifically for the zvh conversion. Rated for 300bhp+ it worked perfect on my zvh for the 2 years I owned it after building until I sold it.
