Default Failed the MOT

Just had my RST fail the MOT , one thing was a leaky shock , so question is .......


can i use any mk3 fezz shock , or are the RS ones unique to the car ?

Any mk3 fiesta shock will physically fit i know for sure. But Im sure the rs turbo's used shorter dampers to obviously make the car lower than say a 1.1 fiesta. It will get through the mot mind but the car might not sit perfectly level. Can get new rear shocks for these cheap enough anyway

I may have a spare shock here Ben you can have for free mate, will have to check my mates unit i left it in though.

RS ones are unique and shorter than the 2i items. Look around for a full kit as changing 1 damper isn't really ideal

its the front shocks anyway not the rear , but i would change the both the fronts anyway
