Default IAW Monitor USB lead

Hi

I know MSD do the Serial RS232 lead for the IAW monitor software, but do they sell the USB version.

or know anybody who does sell them, (or who has one )

I have also had a look on the RP-Labs website and they list a USB version there but obviously MSD is their distributor for their products.

i've got an old laptop with serial port that you can have (just pay postage). the battery doesn't work so it needs a mains supply (direct mains into laptop, not separate power supply) which is a pain when working on cars, but not insurmountable as you can get an inverter pretty cheap these days.

Can you not use a USB-serial converter?
