I'll be there in my snotty ITB XE Corsa which despite a bit of smoke on the over run is just seeming like it wants to keep going and going (ive jinxed it now no doubt, lol)

I just hope its not "damp" as I only really have tyres suitable for either dry or very wet, havent got a particuarly good set for anything inbetween!

The new box has really sorted out the power delivery so I think it should be quite fun now, although obviously it still handles quite poorly compared to our clios!

 

I've got the day off but lack of transport as usual!

The 405 is a mi16 unfortunately not touring car spec under the bonnet though. It is a bit rough around the edges but someone has put a lot f effort into at some point. Say Hello if you see us about

Well, what a wash out that was. Went on track for one session and tip-toed round, so cashed in the rest of my sessions. I don't think my Toyo Proxies are the best for a wet track - what do you guys use in the wet?

 

I spent the whole day on some worn out T1r's and had a great day.

I saw that 406, it was behind me heading out onto the track, but I think by a couple of corners in I was too far in front as didnt see it again after that.

 

Had a big spin on first session, took a while to build confidence up but was flying at the end of my third session, looking forward to rs Combe day and a dry track

 

was our first go in it went ok to be fair. Had a wicked time as well.

My first few trackday in this corsa were full of mechanical issues as I inherited it in quite a bad condition, but its all come together pretty well now into quite a good little package.
Desperately needs a rebore and a set of bigger pistons though to stop the over-run smoke but while its not effecting power TBH I just cant be bothered as Ive got other projects Im desperate to get finished so as far as possible I'm hoping to not touch the corsa much this year now its working well.
