brake callipers, help please

Default brake callipers, help please

my mate had the front brakes from my 90 spec abs rst for his non abs cabriolet, but we cant get any decent braking at all, bloody awfull if anything, can anyone think of a reason?, are abs callipers compatable??, any help would be appreciated, cheers, steve

you'd probably stop better dragging a bit of wood out of the window!!, we've renewed the master cylinder but no better, blead it loads, but still no change, the master cylinder has 4 outlets wheras the turbo had 2, i just wondered if this would make a difference, also someone mentioned "had he got the boosters from the turbo"???, mean anything?

the pedal feels o.k, but pressure on the pedal doesnt seem to transmit to the brakes if that makes any sense

are the brake pads and discs new? have they bedded in properly?

Is the master cylinder bore a different size between the cars you changed them between. Also I would check rear cylinders. They may have gave up when you was bleeding the lines
