hi guys, im a virgin to all this so please be gentle with me as its my first time! Got a mk6 escort van on 16 inch mondeo cossie style alloys, looks sweet as f**k but they catching the body like buggery. Have modified the rear inner arches with a hammer and using spacers already but running out of ideas. I also would like to lower it but need to sort the wheels first. Tyres are 205/55/16. Any ideas? Thanks

 

on my old escort van i used longer studs on rear and spacers they are around 20 quid and easy to fit never had any probs hitting the arches
i think mine was 195 45 16 not sure now though.
as for lowing it fronts just car springs so easy rear is axle flip
