It's still in the planning stages to my knowledge. More of a demo day with some other classes for competition.

Sounds awesome though, nice to see them moving and I'm sure they'll get the hammer down

My mate has just rebuilt his metro 6R4 escort after it was retired a few years ago. It was supposed to have it's first outing at the monaghan stages tomorrow as a sweeper but now motorsport Ireland won't let it run. Gutted.

It has to be seen to be believed lol back it the day it was a old clapped out escort that would completely take the piss out of wrc cars lol. Its totally rebuilt now after many years resting.

Would this be the same guy from co down, that has an RS200 replica, lancia Stratos replica and also a proper ex works metro 6r4?

Nope belongs to Robert Moffett from Co. Monaghan owner of combilift and inventor of the Moffett mounty (for any of you truckers) , his sons Sam (22) and Josh (19) drive it among other things....







We run their rally cars.

They do a bit of drifting too
