Hi i am going to be taking my engine out soon to paint my engine bay and block. So i thought then is a good time to whack a 4 paddle clutch in whilest its on engine hoist
so which make n where is best place to get one from? Im running efi by the way on erst lsd box
Unless you need a paddle I would not recommend one, judder/vibrate when pulling away etc. making town driving a real chore due to their on/off nature and do not last many miles compared to a normal clutch either.
AP's organic range (CP2000-8 and -35) will cope with roughly 230bhp/ftlb and 300bhp/ftlb respectively and are what I would recommend mate

Could be, flywheel might not of been slimmed when it was fitted either?
They are not cheap, IIRC Ł300 and Ł400 repectively! I've had both (currently the -35) and they are well worth the money specially as I hate the feel of a paddle for daily driving.

You don't get a "bit of judder" with a paddle, you KNOW when one is fitted lol
I would also suggest against getting a paddle unless you only drive it rarely.
I've got one and I'm just getting used to it! You really can bang through the gears when you get it right, but you look a right plank when you get it wrong, and I often do...
I went for a paddle because I'm hoping I've future-proofed it for when the boost goes up
