They are very tidy wheels on a Saph. Kevman had a set for sale that were on The Kaiser, think they might have gone though... I'd reckon around 800-900 depending on condition of wheels/type of tyres.

Cheers,
Grant

The lower the et the more they stick out

If you fitted 10mm spacers to et40 weels they would become et30 in affect

So where does the number come from? I thought ET40 would be 40mm out from the hub, ET0 would be inline with the hub etc....

Stick out more Steve, arches have been rolled back so no rubbing at all.

Et0 means the mounting face is 0mm from the centreline of the wheel. Et40 would mean the mounting face is 40mm from the centreline towards the outside of the wheel and a minus figure (eg. Et-15) would be 15mm from the centreline towards the inside. Hope that makes sense?

What width wheels and what size tyres?

I dont see why mine wont fit!

So my 33's are in middle of where you were. That should mean easy peasy?! Hoping Jimbo can batter the arches in to shape

Why comps? Every man and his dog has them.

The most common wheel on a ford and boring as fuck IMO

Fuck me. So 2mm(hardly anything) difference ET and will be same width tyres. In theory this should work. I told him I dont give a fuck how pretty it is behind the arch trim so long as I stop wrecking tyres!

What suspension you on Steve ? Mine scrubbed a wee bit on the fronts till I rolled the arches, now they're fine, even on big bumps.

Konis with ahmed spec springs.

They scuff the outer edges of the tyres on bad bumps otherwise it feels good. I'm sure the shocks are on hard or at least should be. It's enough to ruin the tyre rather than be an annoyance.

It is because you have gone 8j on the front et33 . Ive had 8 sets of wheels on my car and the only set that didnt catch were the gold comps 7 1/2 j all round et35. Now on my car i have

Et30 all round ,the rears are 8j and the fronts are 7j .To fill the rear arches more i could of gone et25 as some people have.

That would make the car drive like crap , yes it would look good but stick a set of ecos rims on a 3 door and you will find out

Chop there is 2 things you can do. Roll the arches or take the wheels off and have them machined to et35 . That would be more than enough. Ring adrian at compomotive

I run 8J front and rear.
Front arches rolled, rears untouched.
Suspension lowered 30mm
Now no scrubbing even 4 people in car
