Default mk4 rs n xr3i master cylinders the same?

is there any difference? i have in my escort rs servo and xr3i master cylinder (thats leaking) and trying to find the right one?
i have cosworth brakes all around so do i need an rs cylinder or will an xr3i one be the same?

RS one is bigger, IIRC .22 and .26 or something like that?! lol
XR one will do (it's what I have with rear disc and 300mm front) but the RS one would be better.

they fit the same, make sure you have the correct one between abs and non abs (abs being the one with press fittings in the bottle)

is yours leaking fluid or vacuum?

I can't commend on your setup as my car doesn't have rear disks... but I found the xr3i master cylinder too 'spongy'... I find the correct bore size for the RS much better... although I have RS turbo callipers on the front and standard rear drums....

you can rebuild a cylinder with a seal kit but if you want an rs item make sure you get an rs item

ill get a snap of an rs 1 i have tomorrow to see what numbers it has on it
