will a stg 3 chip from stu work on a g reg 4x4 saff if it was bought for a j reg 4x4 saff, the g reg does not have the lamda sensor and the chip was bought for the j reg one which does have a lambda sensor, the j reg was written off and the g reg one has been bought to replace it, so can the chip go into the g reg one????

Ecu's are the same Spadge, its lambda input thats different, and may be a mute point if its not lambda enabled software.

I thought the ecu's were different Stu? Both L8's but one pre-lambda one post Would the post lambda ecu not function correctly without a sensor then???

Nope. L8s are both the same.
The green label indicated that lambda software was installed within it.

I do closed loop conversions to suit any L8, so i know this for a fact, regardless of the 15yrs worth of myths and alternate pricing structures im afraid it shatters

lol, no i havnt its my mates car, the silver 4x4 you did a conversion on stu about 3-4 months ago, he wrote it off shortly after you did it he has his payout and has just bought his new one from paul at nyrs spares tonight

mines never moved for 3 month
