selling my escort 90% finished just requires minor bits to complete,the car has been built to the highest standards using only the best parts i could find,
from the offset the car has been built to look as good as it will go.
please no daft comments if you,ve never built a car like this you really have no idea how much they cost !! to build to a high standard..
1979 rs2000 /4 previous owners /fully hpi clear.
quick spec anyone genuinely interested please give me a ring.
shell..superb shell converted from nosecone to flat front by myself using new wings/slam panel/front panel all of which are bolt on fully removable to make engineand box fitting easier in one lump.full underside of the car seam welded front to back/boot floor spare wheel well and tank well removed and replaced with one piece lightweight steel sheet / additional under body strengtheners added / jacking points /engine bay seam welded and gussetted top to bottom /triple top plates with additional bulkhead to strut tower strengtheners /custom twin strut braces tied to cage / modified bulkhead to accept vertually any engine choice....yb moved back 4 1/2 inches for better weight distribution / raised tunnel / handbrake location moved back /4 linked /turretted /panhard rod /with extra strentheners / tubbed /all arches rolled /multi point cage linked to front strutbraces,turretts,and 4 link boxes with removable door bars / firewalled /fuel filler removed /tank platform / seat rails / colour changed from white to olympic blue only mipa products used 8 ltrs inside/outside and underside done to high standard.
running gear... front gaz gold legs fully height and damping adjustable / group 4 alloy hubs /large bearings /forged steering arms/ instiu comp struts/insitu adjustable tca,s/green tre,s/2.2 quickrack/gp4 steering joint/wide track tarmac kit fully rose jointed/power steering in car adjustable/insitu adjustable top mounts/

engine......chassis mounted 205 block/wrc head gasket/lightly ported and polished head/bd16 inlet cam, standard exhaust/siemens injectors/hybrid t34/verniers/remote filter/big oil cooler/big intercooler/all custom silicon pipework/custom turbo and inlet dampers/new 2wd manifold heatwrapped/l8 ecu mapped 398bhp,very good t5 with quickshift/organic clutch {hydraulic}/3"simons ss exhaust.
loads of other stuff ie........sparco evo seats/fire system/willans harnesses/guages/snap off steering wheel/helmet net/new glass rubbers/alloy tank/spare wheelpost/battery box/pump holder/alloy washer tank/genuine ex btcc floor mounted pedalbox modified to suit escort.. etc etc etc
all the car needs to finish is...........front pipe making / prop shortening / new light kit for front / quarter bumpers /brakes plumbing in /new fuel pump and fuel lines/ loom fitting..
this car stands me near 18k but selling as i genuinely dont have the time or enthusiasm anymore going to take a break from the scene for a while.
looking for £13,500 ovno may consider selling as a fully trimmed shell minus engine/box/loom/ecu but would rather sell complete
this car will be worth strong money completed as it is not a cobbled together quick build 100s of hours and £kks have gone into the build tel tony 07899077111 cheers

that looks fantastic,a real credit for the work done so far,shame your not going to finish it and take all the glory for a project that will excite all the people that will see it when its completed.
