Default turbo question

I have just bought my new turbo for my zetec but it doesnt have the housing nipple will i need to put one in or can i run it without it. if i do need it does it matter where abouts i put it on housing. dont know if it makes any difference but im running external wastegate cheers

It doesnt even have a hole for one? You need it to run to your actuator, unless you use an inlet manifold take off... Which isnt a terrible idea as that will then operate at your true boost pressure, sometimes there is quite a difference between comp housing and manifold pressure... Drops a few PSI through IC and pipework etc.
