I am looking for some info, I have in my possession a 1986 D reg RS Turbo Mk4,

I was thinking of converting it to a mk3, despite the obvious changes, e.g wings, near side inner wing, tailgate.

Is there any significant changes between the shells? like trim clip holes etc?

 

I want to start cutting the rot out this weekend so need to order the panels.

Cheers, just wanted to know what the changes where in the shells. i know doors are different and the other bits, but wondered about the fixing holes. I know the dash is different. I have stripped her to bare bones and want to do the replica properly.

 

Its miles different. Rear panel, front panel, wings, bonnet, bulkhead especially where the steering column mounts, doors, engine mount bracket, crossmember & tailgate. I have done it mk3 into mk4 conversion. Pics hear on passion ford. It can be done but its a bit of a job.
