firstly wrong section, secondly why?
they're a bigger engine than a zetec, and they fit snuggly, not sure the extra cylinders width will fit.
also, why? you can easily have too much power from a FRS/zetec turbo engine in a mk2 xr2, i can't get grip in anything but the dry in my zetec turbo in my xr2 and even then struggle as i turn the boost up past a BAR.

Engine / box is too wide to fit between the chassis legs of a mk1 focus / transit connect, so i'd think a mk2 fiesta would be even narrower!

/\ just to point out i struggled with a FRS mtx75 box with a blacktop engine, fair bt of chopping required to inner wing.

Simple as that eh?
Chop chop then, I'm looking forward to seeing it finished in a week.

Don't forget to slam the car on it's bumpstops so it looks/handles like a touring car, perfect for UK roads.

Any thing is possible with enough money, as a standard front end there is no chance the 5pot would fit but if you got creative and choped the fiesta front end off at the bulkhead and made your own space frame for the front end then put a wide arch kit on it that would be good but would cost loads and take ages to do

rob is correct, the 5 pot is a big engine in length, the v6 you mention isn't any longer than a zetec as the pistons are offset and not in a line.

the best place for that engine would be i the rear of the mk2 xr2 ,would go in the front if you cut the hole front end off from the bulkhead and made your own

It can be made to fit into a mk1 Focus - know a lad through a different website who has one fitted into an ST170 and main issue was driveshafts from what I can gather.

I recall it being tight but possible. Not sure on the space in a a Fiesta though

It runs and is mounted ok - needs driveshafts and exhaust to complete it

He was going to have to sell it but now trying to keep the project going

Anything that drastic would be ideal in the back with rwd conversion. On top gear a few years ago there was a v8 mk3 fiesta.!

i have bother a focuys st engine and a mk2 fiesta and just the engine is wider than will fit between teh struts, while you may make it fit in the hole where and engins will go you would have no shock towers

if you was rwd fitment you wouldnt sound so daft tho!!

I've seen a Mk6 Fiesta ST150 with a Focus ST Volvo 5-pot. And I've seen a Zetec turbo with an MTX in a Mk6 Fiesta ST150, and that was a squeeze, so could believe a 5-pot could be made to fit a Mk2 with a little persuasion. there's not much difference in space between an Mk2 and Mk6 having worked on both.
