they dont rate it much though as usual
Ride, handling and looks get a but not much else,and they reckon the interior is not worthy of a 2 grand car let alone one thats 20
I really like the interior of my Escos,is it really shite

 

i can see where they are coming from, but i also do think that they rank higher than some top end sports cars which was also in the test

 

I dont like the interior in the montes it does look a bit cheap.Would have been better if it had been leather in my opinion.

 

i like the trims as well, better than jap stuff easily,

The dash is a bit plasticky(sp?) IMO, but I could live with it

 

Escos interiors aren't made from the best plastics compared to nowadays but back then they were pretty good in comparison to Jap stuff - fair enough they'd not have the quality of a Beemer.

As for the layout of the dash - i think its simple and clear.

skyline, M5,Honda NSX etc

I'd rather have a cloth interiored EscCos than a leather because I like to stay in my seat when throwing a car about and not sliding off. I was all ready to get my interior retrimmed in leather in the RS and a mate took me out in his Calibra and I hated it so much I went and brought a new TV and Hi-Fi instead.
